Yesterday was the BEST day ever!!
For lunch, Frances and I went to Allison's birthday barbecue party. Katy couldn't go because she had to prepare for her own party. We ate hot dogs and pork chops and Michelle was there too!! We prank called some people; it was funny.
Unfortunately, Frances and I had to leave the party early to go to Katy's party.
Not long after Frances and I got back home, Katy's friends started arriving. For one of Katy's presents, she got 3 fish!! She was really happy :)
When everyone was there, we went to Happy Valley to get manicures and pedicures in a nail place called 'The Nail Bar'. The colors I chose for my manicure were hot pink and black, and for my pedicures I chose dark purple. After I got my toes painted, I thought they had already dried, so I started walking around carelessly and now my toes don't look very pretty... but at least my fingers still look nice!!
After the manicures and pedicures, we started getting ready for trick or treating. Frances and I put on our mad scientist costumes and started putting on face paint. We made our eye brows slant upwards to mad us look evil and we put dark purplish circles around our eyes.
Trick or treating was so much fun, but I guess it was a bit too crowded. People kept pushing past me to get candy... but I still really enjoyed it! I got loads of candy, but the candy all ran out within half an hour because there were so many people. But in half an hour we all got plenty of candy that would last for a real looonnnnggg time :D
Sadly, trick or treating had to come to an end, but the sleep over that followed was just as fun! After eating lots of candy and eating pizza for dinner, we put on make up and played and it was so much fun. We wanted to watch 'Wild Child' after, but Katy's mom told us that we had to go to bed :(

Paint-ball Party
The whole afternoon today was a paint-ball birthday party for a boy called Patrick. Grayce went there as well! This was the first time for me to do paint-ball, so before it started, I was really excited but also really scared. I kept wondering about whether or not the paint-ball would hurt if it went on me. We had these big, baggy, long-sleeved shirts and big, baggy, long sweat pants. I got really hot inside them because they were so thick! And the paint-ball battlefield was indoors, and there was no air conditioning inside there.
When I went inside to the battlefield, there was big, hard stands to hid behind. When we started the game, everyone was all quiet. It felt really eerie. Nobody wanted to get out of their hiding spots, just incase they might get shot. So nobody ever moved. I soon got really bored so I just charged out from behind a cardboard Christmas tree and started yelling and shooting. Of course, I got shot so I was out. The paint-ball hit me on the shoulder, and it hurt for a few seconds, but then the pain disappeared. So getting hit by a paint-ball isn't too bad...
When it was the 8th game, the last game, my team had to capture a flag that the other team was guarding. Grayce and I kept creeping up towards the flag when almost everybody go shot and was out of the game. If we had just moved one more meter, we would have gotten the flag. That's how close we were. We started running towards the flag, thinking that everyone else was out. But we didn't know that there was still two more people hiding ride next to the flag. So I ended up getting shot on the nose (quite painful) and on the knee (it left a big, red mark). But it was still really fun! I hope I can do paint-ball again :)
This morning when I woke up, I was feeling horrible. I was coughing and I had shortness' of breath. I had an asthma attack. But luckily I felt much better before the party, and right now I'm all normal again!!

Colony Day and... PIANO EXAM
This morning it was my piano exam!!! I am now sooooo happy that the exam is finally over and I have so many more things to look forward to now!! There's a paint-ball party this weekend, then it's the Charity Bazaar, then 3 days of camp, then Halloween and Katy's birthday party! Can't wait for all of them :)
Although I was really, really nervous last night before the exam, this morning, just before the exam, I wasn't nervous at all -- I was just calm.
After my piano exam, I went to school a few hours late. Then it was Colony Day! My costume for a blacksmith turned out great and my tools were cool as well! Parents walked around the classroom, asking questions like 'Why did you leave Europe to go to the New World?' or 'What are your trade relationships with your fellow colonists?' or 'Now that you have settled in the New World, what do you have to do in order to survive?'
When school was over, I came home for tap. We learnt a new dance to the song 'Steppin' Out With My Baby' by Fred Astaire. We did the dance with canes and hats.

Birthday Party
It was Michelle's birthday party today, and Rachel was there too. We went to the Aberdeen Marina Club (again, for me), and we ate a buffet at a restaurant called The Deck. The Deck had really great food, especially the chocolate fountain!! After a long, yummy lunch, we went to go swimming.
The swimming pool in AMC is really fun; there are 2 water slides and everyone kept going on both of them over and over again. It was really fun swimming there. After about 5 hours of awesome swimming, we took showers in the changing rooms, and headed to the Foam Factory.
The Foam Factory has loads and loads of foam balls, and you can loads these guns with the foam balls and shoot other people. Although we are all quite a bit old for the Foam Factory now, it was still quite enjoyable.

Birthday Party
Today was so much fun!!
It was Frances' 10th birthday party, and last night I went over to Frances' house for a birthday sleep over. I helped her prepare for her party.
Unfortunately, my violin tutor started exactly when Frances' party started, so I had to be about an hour and a half late for her birthday. I bought Frances an H&M gift card -- like what Sophia gave me. Frances really liked it. At the party, we played games and treasure hunts and stuff :)
Also, I had tennis in the morning, and I thought it would be a bit cooler this week than it was last week; I was wrong. It seemed much hotter today than it did last week at tennis!! I was soooo hot :o
When everyone went back home and it was soon dinner time, Frances, Katy, their mom, my mom and I went to the pool side to have a barbecue dinner. It was really fun as well. After Frances, Katy and I finished dinner, we dipped our feet in the pool and played around. We started trying to make each other laugh and it was really funny.

Sophia's Sleep over
Yesterday was such a fun day!! I woke up quite early in the morning because I had to go to a Peer Helper training lesson. I met all the other Peer Helpers in my school and they are all really nice! We played games and snacks and we talked about the tours we will be giving to new parents and students. I really enjoyed it!
After the training, I started preparing for Sophia's birthday party. Originally, Sophia was going to do a camping trip, but since the weather isn't that great these days, the camping trip was cancelled. So instead, Sophia had a sleep over birthday party. Hopefully we can still do another camping trip some other time when the weather is nice!!
I started making a card for Sophia. I printed out photos that Sophia and I took on the computer and put them in the card as well. Luckily there is a shop right underneath all the apartments, so since I was in a bit of a rush, I went there. I bought Sophia a little journal and now she seems to really like it! But I had to buy the present with my own pocket money... I'm trying my best to save up for the LG Xenon phone I am trying to buy with my pocket money. Right now I have HK$2,445!!
After practicing some piano, I went to swim some laps. It was nearly Sophia's birthday party, so I couldn't swim for very long.
I didn't take a shower after swimming because after dinner Sophia, Niki, Sydney, Amanda and I would swim again.
We had a barbecue dinner by the pool side, then the 5 of us went swimming.
We took showers in the clubhouse, so when we got home, we went to see the tents that we would be sleeping in. It looked amazing!! I got to sleep in the same tent as Sophia :)
We stayed up really, really late and had a midnight feast as well! It was one of my most favorite sleep overs I've ever had!
So the sleep over is the reason why I didn't get to write in my blog yesterday; so sorry. Tonight I will write again about what I did today.
Gotta go practice my instruments now!! Bye for now :D

Party Favors
I just came back from shopping in a stationary shop called Cosmos with mommy. We had to buy party favors for my birthday party that is this Saturday. I would love to write what party favors I bought, but some of my friends who are invited to my party may be reading this, and I don't want them to know what the party favors are!! So sorry :(
We also bought stuff for a game we will be playing called Pass the Parcel. We bought little prizes, but again, I can't list the prizes we bought.
Earlier this morning, before I went to the bus stop to go to school, I stopped by at one of my friends' house called Michelle and gave her an invitation to my birthday party. But I'm still not sure yet if she can come... hopefully she can!!
School was just normal, nothing special happened today... but tomorrow I might bring in chocolate chip cookies for the class to celebrate my birthday!! Can't wait for that!
Oh wow! I'm gonna be 10 so soon! Cool -- YAY

Swimming
I finally got to swim in the pool I always love to go to! I went there with my friends, Frances and Katy. We didn't do much swimming, because it was much too hot to actually swim and exercise... I'm sure if I swam a couple laps, I would have started sweating in the pool immediately because of the hot sun!! So we just sat by the pool, planning my birthday party that will happen on August 22nd... I can't wait!!!!
And mommy said I can have a sleep over with Frances and Katy on August 21st, the day of my real birthday, and one day before the party, so they can help me prepare everything!
After swimming, I rushed to take a warm shower, since I was suddenly cold again after walking in the air-conditioned, freezing cold lobby. Almost as soon as I got out of the shower, Frances and Katy had come over. We spent all our time on the computer, making my birthday invitations even better, and planning out what we would do on the day of the party. OOoooooohhh!! I really, really can't wait!
