Restarting Blog - BOSTON!

Hi again!

Well, it's my third day here in Boston, but I'm gonna retrace to when I first arrived, July 25th.

July 25th

I couldn't wait to get off the plane. Not because I wasn't comfortable, but because I wanted to get to Boston! I continuously kept thinking about things I would do once we arrived; shop in Natick Collection, go swimming and play tennis in the club Wedgewood, have barbecues, sitting in Borders and reading, walking around the quiet neighborhood early in the morning. There were all sorts of stuff to do, and I didn't want to wait for it. I kept glancing at my watch, hoping 5:30 would appear on the screen, because that's what time we were supposed to land.
As I was watching a movie, it suddenly paused and the words 'Announcement in Progress' flashed on the screen.
"We are now about to land," the captain said. "So please fasten your seat belts and stow your televisions."
I excitedly got all ready for the landing, and so before I knew it, we were collecting our luggage and getting inside a car, driving to Granddad's house.
"Hi Granddaddy!" I said as soon as I saw Granddaddy walk outside the house. I smiled widely. Finally. What I've been waiting for for ages has finally arrived! I immediately headed inside my room and found a laptop sitting on a desk. My own computer in my room! Cool! Suddenly I heard the door open and everyone saying
"Hi!" and other greetings. I came downstairs and found Wesley and Cindy in the kitchen. It was so great to see them again. I looked at Wesley. Well, I should say looked up at him. He's about a head and a half taller than me now, and last year he was only a few inches taller. So we all had dinner together, but I got really tired because of jet lag, and so I went to bed earlier.

July 26th

"Today we can go to Natick Collection," mommy told me after I practiced my piano.
"Seriously?!" I asked. "Yay!"
I excitedly hopped into the car, thinking about all the stores I would go to.
After several minutes, the huge Natick Collection loomed above us. I charged into the mall, pushing doors out of my way. Natick Collection suddenly became so familiar; I remembered it from all the time I spent ther last summer. I was so happy. I had been waiting to go to Natick Collection for a year, and finally I could go!
I think I spent the most time in Natick Collection: three and a half hours. I only shopped in Justice today, but I got several things:

~Olive green stretchy shorts
~3/4 length jeans
~Olive green button-up shirt with rolled up sleeves
~Black and white cross-hatched button-up shirt with rolled up sleeves
~Navy blue and white striped sweater

After shopping for ages, we had dinner with Wesley and Cindy again, but this time Jon came too because it was his birthday. So we had a barbecue and a cake. It was a lot of fun!

I stepped into the blank, white room, the glittering earrings shimmered around everywhere. I thought I wouldn't be afraid of getting my ears pierced, but I couldn't help feeling slightly nervous. The thought of having a hole punched in my ear was just really scary. I picked out the shiniest, prettiest earring, and nervously sat down on the small, twirling chair. Before I knew it, the lady was taking out a cross between a stapler and a gun and was placing it against my earlobe. It felt like I was trembling really hard on the inside. I almost didn't want to do it anymore. But I stuck to the chair and waited for the pain. And then I felt it. The stinging needle went in though my earlobe. I could feel it slowly inching in. And then it all suddenly stopped. There was no pain anymore except for a slight stinging sensation. But I couldn't believe it was over. I actually finally had my ears pierced now!

2010!!!!!!!

Wow, this past week has been really busy for me!!

Since I am playing the tenor saxophone for band, we had to buy a saxophone for myself. Last weekend, we looked around at every music store, trying to find a tenor saxophone, but they were all out of stock!!! There won't be saxophones until the end of January, and band class starts on January 4th! I'm really worrying about what to do...

On Wednesday, Frances, Katy, mommy, daddy, Samantha and I all hiked the Twin Peaks! It was a lot of fun. The total amount of steps in the Twin Peaks is 1,200! But surprisingly, I still find Mt.  Butler more tiring than the Twins. The Twins actually isn't as bad as I expected! But, since on Wednesday, it was really foggy, wet and drizzling, there was a point in the hike that was very, very slippery and dangerous. Part of the second peak has lots of rocks, and on Wednesday, it was especially slippery. We all slipped at least once, but it actually made the hike more interesting, not just step after step after step.
After the long hike, mommy, daddy and I were invited to go to a party. The kids there were all boys, so I spent the night watching wrestling and things like that... not very fun for me. But towards the end of the party, I sang karaoke, which was quite fun :)

Last night, it was New Year's Eve!!! For dinner, Frances, Katy, mommy, daddy, and I ate a buffet together. I was really full after that. Frances and Katy then invited me to sleep over and count down to 2010. We baked fudge brownies and watched the movie 'Anne of Green Gables'. It's a really good movie and I enjoyed watching it. Then we counted down to New Years. We slept really late (or, technically, really early), so now I'm really tired.
